“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time… If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:2–3
Introduction
Welcome to Abba Father Books.
Early this year I stepped away from the familiarity and security of corporate life and trusted the Lord to help me write, and to serve Him through His Word. It was a quiet conviction and grew into clarity and obedience. Abba Father Books was born from that place.
At its heart, this work is about faithfully stewarding what God has entrusted — which is to create literate and reading resources that help people not only understand Scripture but live it. It is rooted in a deep desire to make the Word of God accessible, engaging, and transformative through thoughtful, verse-by-verse study and storytelling.
This is not simply about writing books. It is about answering the call.
The Vision
The vision of Abba Father Books is simple, yet far-reaching:
To create Christ-centred literature and resources that serve individuals, small groups, churches, and ministries — bringing clarity, depth, and life to the Word of God.
In a world that is increasingly distracted and uncertain, our aim is to place Jesus Christ at the very centre of everything we produce.
This includes:
- Thoughtful book publishing
- Verse-by-verse Bible study guides
- Bespoke resources for conferences and ministries
- Faith-based creative materials
Each work is created with intentionality, prayer, and a commitment to biblical truth.
Current Releases
The Ford at Jabbok River

Where wrestling meets surrender, and brokenness meets grace.
The Ford at Jabbok River is a deeply moving collection of interconnected short stories and poems that explore the hidden battles of the human heart. It tells a story of identity, addiction, abandonment, grief, and redemption.
Through the lives of El, Gary, Lia, and those bound to them, the narrative unfolds as a tapestry of generational wounds, quiet struggles, and the search for something beyond self. Alongside these stories, evocative poetry gives voice to the unspoken moments of conviction, longing, and spiritual awakening.
At its core, this collection is an invitation: to wrestle, as Jacob did, and to encounter God in the place of breaking.
Raw, reflective, and unflinchingly honest, it is a reminder that we are never beyond redemption — and never alone in the struggle.

This is not a book to rush through — it is one to walk through prayerfully.
The Book of Philippians – A Verse-by-Verse Study Guide

Written from prison, Philippians is one of the most personal and powerful letters in the New Testament — filled with encouragement, humility, and unwavering confidence in Christ.

Through structured insights and reflection, you will:
- Understand the deeper meaning of each passage

Upcoming Work
Setareki — A Historical Novel (Spring 2027)

Before Fiji was claimed by the Crown, there was Setareki.
Told through the voice of his nephew, this novel traces the life of a man caught between tradition and empire during a time of profound upheaval. As colonial rule tightens and the measles epidemic of 1875 devastates the islands, Setareki must navigate a world that is rapidly changing — externally and within.
This is a story of memory, identity, loss, and the cost of survival.
A Long-Term Commitment

Looking ahead, Abba Father Books is undertaking an ambitious and prayerful project:
To create a complete verse-by-verse Bible study series covering all 66 books of Scripture.
With a target of completion by 2030, this series is designed to help believers deepen their understanding of the Bible and to support those who are seeking to come into the faith.
Each guide is crafted to bring clarity, context, and practical application — inviting readers to walk through the entirety of Scripture and encounter God’s truth in a deeper, more meaningful way.
This is more than a collection of books. It is an invitation to journey through the Word of God.
Closing
This is only the beginning.
What started as a quiet calling is becoming a body of work — one step of obedience at a time. Every page written, every study created, is part of a larger purpose: to point people back to the truth of God’s Word.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to walk this journey with us. Not just as readers — but as those seeking to know God more deeply, and to live out His Word more faithfully.
Thank you for being here.
Your sister in Christ,
Miri
